Workforce Development Support
Resident Job Training & Placement
Workforce development programming for residents is a key element of our economic development framework. The Beltline is dedicated to connecting residents with quality jobs and fostering equitable, economic growth for all.
Driving Job Opportunities in Atlanta
As a cornerstone of Atlanta’s urban redevelopment, Atlanta Beltline doesn’t just aim to catalyze growth but actively creates access to opportunities. To date, the Beltline has achieved 59% of its goal to create 50,000 permanent jobs. By providing workforce development support, the Beltline is connecting residents to quality jobs with career pathways.

Urban Forestry Career Pathways
A part of our workforce development support program, The Urban Forestry Career Pathways (UFOR) program offers specialized training for individuals interested in the growing field of urban forestry. This is a multi-phased job program that is focused on the continued preservation and beautification of the Atlanta Beltline, through the planting of trees. Applications are now open for the next cohort.
Funding for this project provided by the Inflation Reduction Act and the USDA Forest Service, Urban and Community Forestry Program in partnership with Trees Atlanta.
